i promise you i am sane enough to write.
it started when i woke up today. no erase that. it started last week, while i was back reading my blog.. and my old blog in hartyu.i.ph.
i realized that back then... i still post "worthy" stuff. things that actually make sense, or sort of, or maybe i just think so, i dont know.. stop confusing me. haha.
well, my point is i think i lost my blogger self. the one that actually writes.. and not just writes. yes, they're completely different from each other.. or maybe. oh please, you're confusing me again.
its just that back then, i always write stuff without caring if someone's gonna comment on it, or if anybody would even want to see it or read it for that matter. i just dont care. i just write. and im happy to express what i am feeling at that very moment.
... and those were the times i miss.
and then i discovered there were a lot of bloggers out there. and their blog are "pretty" and have a lot of "readers". and that's when i started wanting readers too. one thing that i actually doesn't regret since i've met a friend in all of you.
but what i was trying to say is for a moment there i was blinded. i thought of blogging as a sort of a "popularity contest"... me wanting a lot of readers and all. but im not saying i dont appreciate readers nor the comments i received... i appreciate them all very much. but i just realized its not the true meaning of being a blogger.
blogging is a way of expressing one's self. and not about of how many hundreds of readers you have nor is it about those gazillions of comments you receive.
when you post something, and someone read it, and left a comment. that's because that someone has actually something to say... may it be an opinion, advice or anything. you dont ask for readers nor you ask for comments.. you receive them because people are interested in your post.
its just like in tumblr, you dont ask for followers... you never asked for them. people will follow you if they like what you post. because if you just asked for followers and all... you lose the true essence of blogging, its as if you just wanted to be "popular". you have a lot of followers just because you asked them to, not because they really appreciate what you post.
blogging is not a popularity contest, (well, in a way, its sort of since im planning to join candymag blog awards for fun only! lol but i think im already too late?) in the end it will just be you and how much your post is worth reading.
'kay. that's all opinion.. MY OPINION. so dont over act there or anything. just watched "cloudy with a chance of meatballs" with me! yey! just click click click.
