18th.
Today was bittersweet. I don't like parties, to be honest. I mean, I like attending them with friends and all, but I dislike having one for me. Never in my life that I celebrated my birthday with a party. We always just eat dinner outside. Me and my immediate family, that is.
I turned 18 today, btw. And I only asked mom to buy me a laptop and loafers as a gift. I don't like to have a party. I don't like to have a celebration. I don't think there is something to celebrate about. I mean if I didn't celebrate before when Dad is still here, then why would I when he's gone? I just really dislike the thought of having a party without Dad.
Mom wanted to cook dinner though. She said Dad would want our family and his side of family to be there on my birthday. So I let her.
Me and mom went to Dad this afternoon too though. And we just sort of cried together. It was nice, but it was also sad. I swear I miss Daddy so much, I'm willing to exchange my two hands and feet, if that's what it woud take to bring him back. To be honest I just wanted to stay and spend my birthday in there. But I can't.
My small party was fun though. My cousin bought me a lot of roses and asked all my other guy cousins and uncles to dance with me. Sort of like the traditional 18 rose dance. It was so cheezy but it was also hilarious coz I'm only wearing shorts! I was literally LOL-ing. Then my cousin asked my girl cousins and aunts to give me messages, like the candles, and that's when I started crying. Especially when mom gave her message. THIS IS WHY I DIDN'T LIKE TO HAVE A PARTY IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Nonetheless, it was a day to remember. I'm not a minor anymore people! Pwede na makulong! Woohoo.
Party with friends tomorrow. Yey! Goodnight!
